![]() ![]() One more LiS/TMW commonality that occurs to me:Ĭhloe's theory about being destined to die and Tyler's memory that their mother was yelling belligerently that she was going to kill him both come from an old place of hurt and trauma where they believe that there's something fundamental about them that would cause the universe/their mother to respond to them in such a cruel way. It would also mean she saved Mary-Ann from suicide, for what that's worth. There's also no contradiction between this and Alyson having sincerely (and reasonably - Mary-Ann had a gun, she'd snapped, she could've been all "I'm not going to hurt you" in the sense that a direct shot to the brains wouldn't hurt) believed at the time that Mary-Ann was going to kill them. Abandon the damaged woman in her worst state at her moment of deathīut based on everything I've seen (admittedly from someone else's playthrough, linux version when pleeeeeeease) I just can't bring myself to think "she was trying to kill him" as in any way more plausible. Say a big "♥♥♥♥ you" to the machinations of the world ![]() Stay true to the good that was in the damaged woman
